Construction and properties

The tie features internal serration, ensuring a secure closure and preventing accidental disconnection. The tensile strength reaches 220 N, guaranteeing stability of the bundle even in difficult conditions. The strap thickness of 1 mm and width of 4.8 mm allow for securing bundles of varying thicknesses. The material used – polyamide – provides resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. UL94 V2 flammability class confirms its properties limiting the spread of fire. Additionally, the tie is halogen-free, increasing safety during use in enclosed spaces.

Applications and installation

SP 380X4.5 FA tie is ideal for electrical installations, industrial automation, and everyday home use. It can be used to organize cabling in server cabinets, electrical switchboards, or to secure wires in building installations. Dedicated mounting brackets for cable ties are recommended for mounting the tie to the substrate. The operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C allows it to be used in a wide range of environmental conditions. It should be noted that it lacks long-term resistance to UV radiation – in case of exposure to sunlight, it is recommended to use ties with increased UV resistance or protect the bundle from direct sunlight.
