The EKE 100x60 connecting cover is an element of the Kopos protective system, designed for aesthetic and safe closing of connection spaces in electrical installations. Made of high-quality plastic - polyvinyl chloride (PVC) - it ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Its universal white color (RAL 9003) allows for harmonious integration into various interior designs.

Features and application

The EKE 100x60 cover is primarily used in Kopos electrical systems, but thanks to its standard dimensions, it can also be used with other compatible ducts. It serves to protect wire connections, sockets and other electrical installation elements from accidental contact and external factors. The IP40 protection class provides basic protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm. The external model suggests the possibility of use in rooms with increased humidity or exposed to contact with water, although this is not complete protection against flooding.

Construction and parameters

Made of PVC, the cover is characterized by impact resistance (IK06). The lack of potential equalization means that it does not have additional grounding elements - in installations requiring potential equalization, appropriate additional solutions should be used. A raw surface finish means that the cover does not have an additional finishing coating and is ready for painting or other customization. The height of the cover is 100 mm, which allows covering larger connections. Importantly, the product does not contain halogens, which affects its safety in the event of a fire - it limits the emission of toxic gases.
