The LHD 17x17 end cover is an essential finishing component in cable and electrical wire management systems. This white end piece is specifically designed for corner trunking with a 17x17 mm cross-section, ensuring an aesthetic and functional closure of the installation.

Construction and materials

The component is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) – a plastic characterized by high resistance to chemical agents and long-term durability. The material complies with the CSN EN 50 085-1 standard, guaranteeing safety for use in electrical installations.

The compact dimensions of 15.5 mm height and 17 mm width fit perfectly with LHD corner trunking systems of the same cross-section. The white color according to the RAL 9003 standard provides a universal appearance suitable for most residential and office interiors.

The surface of the component remains in a raw state without additional protective coatings, which simplifies the production process and reduces costs while maintaining full functionality.

Application and compatibility

The end cover is used as an end element in LHD corner trunking systems with a cross-section dimension of 17x17 mm. The system can be used with base material having a flammability rating up to class C3, which expands the range of possible construction applications.

Installation is carried out using a snap-in/clamping system, which allows for quick and secure mounting of the element without the use of additional tools. This solution allows for easy disassembly in case of the need to modify or expand the installation.

The element is compatible with the entire range of accessories for trunking and electrical conduits produced by KOPOS KOLIN.

Performance properties and safety

The element provides an IP40 protection rating, protecting against finger access and the entry of solid objects with a diameter greater than 1 mm. At the same time, it does not provide protection against water, which is typical for end elements installed indoors.

The IK07 impact resistance guarantees durability against mechanical impacts with energy up to 2 joules, which corresponds to a 500g weight falling from a height of approximately 40 cm.

The operating temperature range of from -5°C to +60°C allows the component to be used in most indoor conditions encountered in residential, office, and light industrial construction.

The system does not feature E30/E90 fire resistance maintenance functions and is not an antibacterial model – these features are not required for standard indoor applications.
