MDFZ 80/VDZ_KB mounting plate for thermal insulation systems

The MDFZ 80/VDZ_KB mounting plate is a complete kit for installing electrical devices in building thermal insulation systems. It contains all the necessary elements for precise hole cutting and solid mounting of equipment in an insulation layer with a minimum thickness of 80 mm.

Construction and materials

Made of polypropylene (PP), the plate features a halogen-free construction and self-extinguishing properties (30 seconds). The lead-free material ensures user safety. The round shape with a diameter of 73 mm and a depth of 80 mm is designed for standard electrical device mounting systems.

Application and compatibility

The system enables the installation of motion sensors, monitoring cameras, lighting fixtures, and other devices on facades insulated with expanded polystyrene or mineral wool. Installation is possible both during the insulation process and in already finished facades. The maximum load is 15N.

Operating parameters and safety

The plate operates in a wide temperature range from -25°C to +60°C, maintaining full functionality year-round. Resistance to high temperatures is confirmed by the glow-wire test at 850°C. The system is adapted for rated voltages ≤400V AC and currents ≤16A.

Compliance and standards

The product meets the requirements of the A1-F fire reaction class, ensuring the highest level of fire safety. It holds CE certificates and REACH and RoHS declarations of conformity. Installation is carried out by fastening with screws with a diameter of 4-5mm.

Complete mounting kit

The complete kit includes a reusable manual hole saw, a mounting plate carrier, and a set of screws with detailed installation instructions. The system eliminates the formation of thermal bridges thanks to the precise fit of the elements. For larger quantities of plates, one MDFZ 80/VDZ_KB kit can be ordered, and then only MDFZ 80_KB plates can be purchased separately.
