Robust cable protection in harsh conditions
PPO UV 8063 HF FA conduit is a solid solution for protecting cables in electrical installations. It is characterized by high mechanical resistance – withstanding up to 1250 N – making it ideal for applications where durability and damage resistance are crucial. Made of PC/ABS material, it provides reliable protection against external factors, including UV radiation, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors.
The conduit is rigid, making installation easier and ensuring installation stability. The possibility of use in concrete, hollow walls and wood increases its versatility. With an inner diameter of 57 mm and an outer diameter of 63 mm, it is compatible with a wide range of cables and connectors. Equipped with a socket, it ensures tight and durable connections.
Safety and compliance with standards
The halogen-free material minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire, which is particularly important in public buildings, hospitals, schools or shopping centers. The conduit meets the requirements of impact resistance classes (Heavy – Class 4) and is flame retardant. Additionally, installation is permitted in areas with a risk of explosion of flammable gases and vapors (zone 2) and dust (zone 22). The operating temperature range from -45°C to 90°C guarantees reliable operation even in extreme conditions.
The black conduit (RAL 9005) not only protects cables but also provides an aesthetic appearance of the installation. It is designed for flush-mounted and surface-mounted installation, providing great design freedom. Remember to limit to one cable per conduit to maintain the full functionality of the fire protection system – detailed information can be found in the Fire Resistant Systems catalog.
