Galvanized nipple with gasket for connecting Spiro ducts in ventilation systems

Designed for safe and airtight connection of ventilation ducts with a diameter of 315 mm – both spiral and smooth. The dual-lip EPDM gasket ensures an airtightness level of Class D in accordance with PN-EN 12237, meaning the joint does not require additional gaskets or sealants during installation. This is a key advantage for the installer – faster installation, fewer errors, and no risk of leaks.

The product is made from galvanized steel sheet, providing natural corrosion protection – particularly important in humid conditions, such as exhaust ducts or heat recovery systems. Dimensions and construction are compatible with most standard ventilation ducts on the market, and the connection stub length (70–80 mm) allows for stable insertion and secure positioning without additional fastening.

Compliance and operating conditions

The nipple meets the requirements of PN-EN 1506:2007 and holds a PZH hygiene certificate, confirming its safe use in residential, office, and industrial buildings. It bears the "B" mark – mandatory since June 30, 2019 – indicating approval for use in new installations in accordance with current regulations.

It operates within temperatures ranging from -30°C to +70°C, covering most typical ventilation applications – from kitchens and bathrooms to mechanical ventilation systems in commercial buildings. The EPDM gasket is resistant to aging, moisture, and temperature fluctuations – it does not lose elasticity even after years of use.
