This closing thermostat, designed for mounting in rack cabinets, is a simple yet effective solution for administrators who care about the optimal operating temperature of server equipment, UPS systems, monitoring and other components sensitive to overheating. The device allows for automatic cooling control, minimizing operating costs and extending the life of the equipment.

The AK-1505-S thermostat uses a bimetallic sensor that reacts to changes in ambient temperature. When the temperature exceeds the set value, the current contact is closed, activating the connected cooling devices or fans. When the temperature drops to the set level, the circuit returns to the open state, turning off the cooling. The fast action of the contacts ensures an effective response to temperature fluctuations.

The thermostat design is designed for easy installation and versatility. In addition to standard mounting on a 35mm DIN rail, the device is equipped with a removable mounting lug compatible with the 19" RACK standard. This allows for flexible adaptation to different server cabinet configurations and mounting spaces. The lug can be mounted on the left or right side, at the front or back of the mounting rail, and can also be rotated 180 degrees for optimal fit.

Safety is a key aspect of the thermostat design. The housing is made of high-quality ABS plastic with a flammability class of UL 94 V-0, which provides fire resistance and minimizes the risk of flame spread in the event of a fire. This is particularly important in server rooms and other rooms with a high concentration of electrical equipment.

The set with the thermostat includes all the necessary mounting accessories, which facilitates and speeds up installation. The device is compact (dimensions: 43 x 67.8 x 97.3 mm) and lightweight (weight: 0.1 kg), which further facilitates its integration with the existing IT infrastructure. The thermostat has a telecommunications height of 2.5U and can operate at a power of 30W.
