This Lanberg AD-0026-S adapter is a simple solution when you need to connect two devices to a single network port. It allows you to split a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a switch or additional cabling. It is an ideal solution for both home and office, especially where there is a lack of available RJ45 ports. The adapter is platform-independent and does not require an external power supply, which simplifies its installation and use.

Construction and application

The adapter has one male RJ45 connector (input) and two female RJ45 connectors (outputs). This allows you to connect two devices to a single network cable. The adapter's construction is based on the Cat. 5e standard, which ensures compatibility with most modern network installations. The 15 cm cable is terminated with nickel-plated contacts to ensure a stable connection and corrosion resistance. The adapter is shielded, which minimizes signal interference.

It is also worth noting that the adapter does not carry PoE (Power over Ethernet) power, so it cannot be used to connect devices that require power through the network cable. For proper operation, it is recommended to use two such adapters – one connected to the signal source (router/switch), and the other to the end devices.
