The SKINTOP ST PG 7 cable gland is a professional component for the secure entry of conductors into enclosures, designed for maximum reliability in demanding industrial conditions.

Construction and materials

The body made of polyamide (PA) guarantees high mechanical and chemical resistance, while the special seal design made of chloroprene (CR) ensures durable protection against moisture and dust. The gland achieves an IP68 protection rating, meaning full tightness against dust and resistance to continuous immersion in water.

The PG7 thread system with a length of 8 mm allows for solid mounting in standard mounting holes. A wrench size of 15 mm facilitates installation with standard tools.

Performance and reliability

The clamping range of 2,5-6,5 mm allows for the handling of a wide range of single-core and stranded conductors. Enhanced oil resistance ensures that the gland maintains its properties even in environments with high oil content.

A special anti-vibration system protects cables from accidental disconnection during the operation of electric motors and other devices generating vibrations. Optimal strain relief eliminates the risk of conductor damage at the entry point.
