Construction and parameters

The ETHERLINE LAN Cat.6A patch cord features a robust S/FTP (Screened/Foiled Twisted Pair) construction, meaning each pair of wires is shielded with aluminum foil, and the entire cable is additionally surrounded by a copper braid screen. This construction effectively protects against electromagnetic (EMI) and radio frequency (RFI) interference, ensuring stable data transmission even in environments with high levels of interference. The internal strand (4x2 AWG26/7S/FTP) provides flexibility and makes the cable easy to route.

The cable has RJ45 8(8) connectors on both sides, compliant with IEC 60603-7-51, and a locking lever that prevents the cable from accidentally falling out of the connector. A black strain relief protects the cable from mechanical damage at the bend point at the connector. The cable jacket is made of low-smoke and halogen-free material, increasing safety in the event of a fire.
