LEDLENSER HF4R Core is a compact lighting solution that works perfectly for both evening walks with the dog and camping trips. Thanks to two light sources, it provides ideal illumination for both close-range and long-range, while the red front light additionally increases safety during use after dark.

Lighting system and operating modes

The headlamp offers four basic lighting modes adapted to different needs. Boost Mode delivers a maximum power of 500 lumens with a range of up to 130 meters, ideal for quickly illuminating distant objects. Power Mode (300 lm, 100 m) is perfect for activities requiring long-term illumination, offering up to 2.5 hours of operation. Medium Mode (120 lm, 60 m) provides a balance between brightness and runtime - up to 5 hours. Low Mode (20 lm, 15 m) allows for maximum runtime of up to 35 hours.

The red front light preserves the natural night vision of the human eye, making it an ideal solution for nocturnal activities without blinding the surroundings. Fusion Beam technology ensures a harmonious light beam that optimally illuminates both near and far areas.

Construction and materials

The headlamp body is made of high-quality polycarbonate (PC), which is characterized by exceptional resistance to mechanical damage and extreme weather conditions. The lamp head is infinitely adjustable within a range that allows for precise beam direction exactly where it is most needed.

The narrow headband can be individually adjusted, ensuring a comfortable fit for various head sizes. The total weight of the headlamp is only 72 grams, making it practically unnoticeable during long-term use.

Power supply and charging system

The integrated lithium-ion battery provides efficient power throughout the entire operating cycle. The USB-C magnetic charging system enables fast and convenient recharging - a full charge takes approximately 180 minutes. The battery status indicator informs about the current charge level and remaining runtime.

The Backup Mode function automatically switches the headlamp to energy-saving mode when the charge level drops below a critical level, providing approximately one hour of additional operation for a safe conclusion of the activity or return to base.

Resistance and certifications

The headlamp meets the IP68 standard - it is resistant to continuous immersion in water and completely dust-tight. It has passed drop tests from a height of 2 meters without loss of functionality. An operating temperature range from -20°C to +40°C enables use in practically any climatic conditions.

The color temperature of the white light is between 5200K and 6200K, providing natural color rendering (CRI=70). The color rendering index guarantees realistic perception of the colors of illuminated objects.

Additional features and warranty

A practical transport lock prevents accidental switching on of the headlamp during transport in a backpack or bag. The memory function automatically starts the headlamp in the last used lighting mode. The Temperature Control system protects the LEDs from overheating during intensive use.
