Professional cable gland with high IP68 protection

The IP68 ISO 20 cable gland is an advanced solution for professional electrical installations requiring maximum protection against moisture, dust, and particles. Made of halogen-free polyamide (PA) in light gray RAL 7001, it ensures reliable sealing of cables with a diameter of 6-12 mm across a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to 80°C.

Construction and operating mechanism

The model features a vibration-resistant mechanical clamp, consisting of flexible strips that exert strong pressure on the cable. This innovative design guarantees excellent pull-out resistance and stable fastening even under intense vibration conditions.

The ISO 20 metric thread with a length of 24 mm and a pitch of 1.5 mm ensures precise fit to standard mounting holes. The wrench size is 26 mm, and the width across flats is 26.5 mm, allowing the use of standard mounting tools.

Protective properties and materials

The IP68 protection rating means total resistance to dust penetration and protection against continuous immersion in water under pressure for a specified time. The gland features a neoprene seal, which, combined with the mechanical locking system, creates a hermetic barrier protecting electrical connections.

The polyamide PA material provides high chemical and mechanical resistance while maintaining the flexibility necessary for effective sealing. The product is halogen-free, making it environmentally friendly and compliant with the latest ecological standards.
