Flush-mounted distribution board PRACTIBOX3 1x18 modules with transparent door 401756
Purpose and expansion possibilities
The distribution board is designed for flush mounting in masonry walls - both in single-family houses and commercial premises. It accommodates 18 modules on a single DIN rail, allowing for the installation of miniature circuit breakers, isolators, RCDs, and other modular devices in one row.
The manufacturer has provided the possibility of expansion - it can be extended with additional Practibox³ system elements as the electrical installation develops. This is a significant feature for installers working in facilities where future configuration changes are likely.
Construction and equipment
The enclosure is made of plastic - lightweight and corrosion-resistant. The white color (RAL 9003) blends well with standard wall finishes. The door is transparent, which allows for continuous visual inspection of the device status without the need to open it - useful for diagnostics and quick startup.
The cylinder lock secures access against unauthorized persons. The set includes grounding and neutral conductor terminal strips, allowing for an organized connection of all protective and neutral conductors without additional costs.
Dimensions and cutout fit
| External | Built-in | |
|---|---|---|
| Width | 493 mm | 436 mm |
| Height | 288 mm | 248 mm |
| Depth | 105 mm | 85 mm |
A built-in depth of 85 mm means that the distribution board fits into standard wall partitions with a thickness of approximately 10 cm and above. The mounting opening width is 436 mm - when planning masonry work, this dimension plus a margin for leveling the opening should be taken into account.
Operating conditions and IP class
The enclosure provides an IP40 protection rating. It protects against solid objects with a diameter greater than 1 mm (e.g., wire, tool), but is not water-resistant. This is typical protection for distribution boards installed inside dry rooms - apartments, offices, corridors. It should not be used in bathrooms or outdoors without an additional enclosure with a higher IP class.
The product complies with European standards for electrical installation equipment - it comes from the Legrand factory in Poland, which guarantees consistent quality between units.
