Flush-mounted electrical distribution board for domestic and office installations

The PRACTIBOX3 distribution board (catalog no. 401757) is a flush-mounted enclosure made of white plastic (RAL 9003), designed for installation in the walls of residential, office, and public utility buildings. Thanks to its neutral color and flat design, it integrates well with plaster - it protrudes from the wall surface by approximately 20 mm (105 mm total depth minus 85 mm installation depth).

The design accommodates 36 modules arranged in two rows of 18 modules each. This capacity is sufficient to secure the installation in a medium-sized apartment or a single-family house - you can place circuit breakers, RCDs, motor starters, smart home controllers, and other modular devices mounted on a DIN rail here. Inside the enclosure, there are factory-installed DIN rails, an earth bar, and a neutral bar.

Transparent door with cylinder lock

Equipping it with transparent doors allows for continuous visual monitoring of the status of the modular devices without the need to open the enclosure - the installer can see at a glance whether all elements are in their place. The door is closed with a cylinder lock, which protects access to the interior from unauthorized persons. This solution is particularly effective in public areas (stairwells, corridors) and where protection against accidental interference is important - for example, in homes with children.

Radio signal-permeable door - the enclosure does not act as a barrier to radio waves, so wirelessly communicating devices (Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Z-Wave modules) placed inside operate without interference.

Dimensions and expansion possibilities

The enclosure has external dimensions of 493 × 496 × 105 mm (width × height × depth). For installation, an opening with a width of 436 mm, a height of 456 mm, and a depth of 85 mm is required. Inside, there is also 85 mm of working depth available - enough for free wiring and comfortable mounting of devices even with a full set of modules.

The enclosure is suitable for expansion - it can be expanded with additional modules or system elements from the same series.

Operating conditions and safety

The IP40 protection rating ensures effective protection against finger access (solid objects > Ø1 mm) and lacks water resistance. The distribution board is intended exclusively for dry indoor rooms - living rooms, bedrooms, corridors, and offices. It should not be used in bathrooms, damp rooms, or outdoors.

The enclosed design prevents accidental contact with live parts - the front plate covers the entire front surface of the devices even when the door is open.
