The SP58 1P fuse base is a professional isolating switch enabling sectioning and protection of electrical circuits. The device has been specifically designed to work with 22x58mm cylindrical HRC fuses, providing a reliable solution for industrial and semi-industrial installations.

Construction and compatibility

The design is based on a single-pole architecture mounted on a standard DIN rail, ensuring fast and simple installation in electrical switchboards. The device is adapted for operation at a rated voltage of 400V, making it suitable for most industrial applications.

The IP20 protection rating guarantees basic protection against contact with live parts and against access to solid objects larger than 12.5mm. The housing, finished in RAL 7035 (light grey), features a neutral aesthetic that fits perfectly into modern electrical installations.

Functionality and safety

The model is equipped with a locking mechanism, which allows for the physical securing of the lever against accidental switching - a key function during maintenance and service work. At the same time, the device does not feature simultaneous disconnection of the neutral conductor, which is a standard solution for this type of apparatus.

The absence of an optical trip indicator is compensated for by a robust mechanical construction, which provides clear signaling of the connection status through the position of the lever. This solution simplifies device status diagnostics during inspections.

Application and operating parameters

Due to its compatibility with popular 22x58mm cylindrical fuses, it serves as a universal solution for modernizing existing installations. Operating parameters at 400V rated voltage allow for use in both single-phase and three-phase power systems (where it serves as a single-phase component). DIN rail mounting enables easy expansion of existing distribution boards with additional isolation functions.
