Marina Plinth for enclosures 800×400 mm

The Marina plinth is a key element of the Legrand polyester enclosures system, designed specifically for enclosures with dimensions 800×400 mm. Made of high-quality plastic in color RAL 7035 (grey), it provides a solid base and additional functionality for the entire installation set.

Construction and materials

The plinth is made of glass-fiber reinforced polyester, which guarantees exceptional durability and resistance to environmental conditions. The material is characterized by heat resistance up to 960°C in accordance with the IEC EN 60695-2-11 standard, as well as natural corrosion resistance. Thanks to these properties, the plinth performs excellently even in harsh industrial conditions and corrosive environments.

The design includes doors at both the front and the rear, which significantly facilitates access to cabling and installation components. The external dimensions are 790×380×170 mm, while the mounting space is designed for 800×400 mm, ensuring a perfect fit for the Marina series enclosures.

Functionality and organization

The model is equipped with cable management capabilities, allowing for order within the electrical installation. The plinth enables the connection of two units, providing greater flexibility when designing larger enclosures or when additional space for cabling is required.

The product does not feature aeration or venting functions, focusing instead on maximum protection and organization of internal components. This solution allows for the efficient use of the space under the main enclosure while maintaining easy access to all installation elements.

Application and compatibility

The Marina plinth is part of the comprehensive Marina system, which provides an IP66 protection class and IK10 mechanical resistance according to relevant European standards. The product works particularly well where additional space for cable routing is required or where easy access to cabling from the rear of the enclosures is necessary.

External dimensions of 790×380×170 mm with a mounting space of 800×400 mm allow for precise fitting to the Marina series enclosures, while maintaining the full functionality of the cable management system and access to installation components.
