The CAB 3 number 6 blue marker is a complete set of 1200 pieces of markers designed for the permanent labeling of wires and terminals in distribution boards, junction boxes, and on terminal blocks. Intended use and compatibility

CAB 3 markers are designed for use with copper and aluminum wires with a cross-section of:

• 0,15-0,5 mm² - fine-stranded wires,
• 0,5-1,5 mm² - the most popular single-core and multi-core wires used in building installations.

The core diameter ranges from 0,8-1,4 mm, while the outer cable diameter can range from 2 to 3,2 mm. This allows the markers to fit most standard wires used in residential and industrial installations - from typical YDYp (standard Polish cable type) 3×1,5 mm² to thicker control cables.

The product is effective for labeling:

• terminals in distribution boards,
• wire ends in junction boxes,
• electrical device connections,
• circuits in control cabinets.

Construction and mounting method

The markers have a shape that allows them to be slid onto the wire in one motion - snap-on mounting (snap) allows for quick application without the use of additional tools. The dimensions of a single marker are 5 mm in length and 3 mm in width, ensuring the legibility of the print even on small wires.

The housing is made of plastic (polyamide PA 6/6), which is characterized by good mechanical resistance and dimensional stability in typical operating conditions.

Markers are supplied in a blister (booklet) format - a format that facilitates removing individual pieces while working on a construction site or during installation servicing.

Operating conditions and marking durability

The operating temperature range is from -30°C to +85°C, which covers both winter conditions (unheated rooms, corridors) and typical indoor conditions around electrical distribution boards.

The numerical print is resistant to abrasion and fading - once a marker is applied, it remains legible throughout the entire period of the installation's use, which is crucial for potential modifications or repairing faults.

Although the material is not halogen-free, these parameters do not pose an obstacle in standard electrical installation applications - the markers meet the standard requirements for auxiliary equipment for low-voltage electrical installations.
