Compact solution for modular installations

The S2 white insulating switchgear is a professional modular enclosure designed for mounting two electrical devices with a standard width of 17,5 mm. Made of high-quality plastic in white RAL 9010, it provides an aesthetic and safe solution for indoor installations.

Construction and enclosure materials

The enclosure is made of flame-retardant materials with heat resistance up to 850°C, which guarantees safety during use even in the event of an electrical short circuit. Compact dimensions (140 × 52 × 68 mm) and an internal depth of 48 mm allow for mounting in limited spaces. The design is intended for surface mounting, which simplifies installation without the need to drill holes in walls.

The cover with a dedicated opening allows easy access to the mounted modules without the need to fully open the switchgear. This enables quick access to main circuit breakers, electricity meters, or signaling diodes.

Operating parameters and safety

The IP30 protection rating provides basic protection against access to hazardous parts and larger solid objects, while simultaneously allowing free internal ventilation. The enclosure operates stably in a temperature range from -10°C to +40°C, and the storage temperature ranges from -20°C to +70°C.

The design meets the requirements of the PN-EN 60439-3 standard for low-voltage installation enclosures, confirming its compliance with European safety standards. Additionally, the cover can be sealed, allowing for protection against unauthorized access.

Application and compatibility

The S2 switchgear is ideal as a component of auxiliary switchgear, automation, and control systems. It can be mounted anywhere in the installation, providing protection for electrical connections against mechanical and thermal damage.

The enclosure is adapted for mounting on a TS-35 DIN rail, making it compatible with a wide range of modular devices available on the market. The single-row design accommodates a maximum of two standard modules, and if larger elements need to be mounted, it is possible to widen the opening according to the designed material knockouts.
