Structural profiles for XL³ 4000 systems - a universal solution for modern electrical installations

LEGRAND structural profiles are a fundamental element of XL³ 4000 switchgear systems. A set of four profiles with a height of 2000 mm in color RAL 7035 enables the creation of configurations tailored to individual design needs.

System application and operating parameters

These profiles have been specifically designed for XL³ 4000 enclosures, where they serve as the load-bearing element for the entire structure. They are mounted to the "roof-base" set, forming the base for mounting side and rear panels. The system is characterized by an IP30 IK07 protection level, which can be increased to IP55 IK08 through the use of doors and sealing kits when connecting modules.

The external height of the profiles is 2000 mm, while the useful height of the cover plate is 1800 mm. In the case of using a rotating support frame, this height is reduced to 1700 mm. The design allows for the construction of installations with varying capacities - from 24 modules (with an enclosure width of 725 mm or 975 mm with an internal side compartment) to 36 modules (with a width of 975 mm). This flexibility makes the profiles suitable for both small switchboards and large power distribution systems.

The color scheme is based on the RAL 7035 standard for panels and RAL 7004 for plinths. The design allows for both side-by-side and back-to-back connections, which significantly increases arrangement possibilities.

Construction materials and operational durability

The profiles are made of metal material, ensuring resistance to mechanical damage (IK07/IK08) and dimensional stability.

The surface coated with powder paint in color RAL 7035 is characterized by corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning.

The XL³ system offers extremely wide configuration possibilities - from simple switchboards to advanced power distribution systems meeting the requirements of the IS333 standard and form 4b. Structural profiles form the basis for this flexibility, allowing for easy addition of subsequent modules and modernization of existing installations.

The availability of three depths and three widths allows for optimal adaptation to site conditions.
