Construction and installation

The socket is designed for flush mounting, providing an aesthetic appearance of the installation. It can be installed using clips or screws—the choice depends on the installer’s preference and mounting conditions. The minimum mounting box depth is 30.9 mm. The mechanism is supplied with a label, clips, and a mounting bracket, simplifying and accelerating installation. Made from durable thermoplastic, the socket offers high resistance to mechanical damage (IK04) and is coated with lacquer to enhance durability. The IP21 protection rating ensures protection against accidental contact and splashing water.

Performance and compatibility

The socket provides an input attenuation of 1.5 dB at both 860 MHz and 2150 MHz, minimizing signal loss. It is compatible with UHD TVs and meets LTE ready (4G) requirements, ensuring stable reception even in areas with strong cellular network coverage. Class A shielding guarantees high signal quality in star-type installations, where each receiver has a dedicated cable to the antenna or splitter. The socket features two male connectors with a diameter of 9.5 mm.
