Viking busbar connector for protective conductors LEGRAND

The Viking 3 LEGRAND busbar connector is a professional solution for connecting protective conductors in electrical installations. It is made of high-quality thermoplastic in green-yellow, which is the international standard for PE conductors.

Construction and conductor compatibility

The device ensures universal compatibility thanks to a wide range of supported conductor cross-sections. Single-core conductors with a cross-section of 1,5-16 mm² and stranded conductors, both with ferrule ends (2,5-10 mm²) and without them (1,5-16 mm²), can be safely connected. Additionally, it supports multi-core conductors in the range of 2,5-10 mm².

The design includes two screw terminals per level, enabling a 1 input/1 output type connection. The side connection system ensures convenient mounting and maintenance in switchboards.

Operating parameters and safety

The device operates at a rated voltage of 800V and a current of 57A, making it suitable for most industrial and construction applications. The operating temperature range from -5°C to +40°C guarantees reliability in various environmental conditions.

Explosion-proof design Ex-e confirmed by ATEX, NF App Industri, and IMQ certificates, allowing for use in potentially explosive environments. The insulating material has a flammability rating of UL94 V2, providing additional safety during use.

Mounting and dimensions

The compact design with dimensions of 10 × 46,5 × 52,5 mm (width × height × depth) allows for high density in switchboards. Mounting is performed on a standard DIN TH-35 mm rail, simplifying installation in existing systems.

An end cover is required to properly close the module, and the internal levels are not bridged, providing full flexibility for electrical installation configuration.
