Viking 1 connector 35 mm2 PE tor 037175
Connector for PE protective conductor with screw connection
The Legrand Viking 3 connector is a professional electrical installation component, specifically designed for connecting PE protective conductors. The product ensures a safe and reliable continuation of the protective circuit between two conductors - both solid and stranded.
Construction and materials
The insulating body is made of thermoplastic material of class V2 according to UL94, which guarantees appropriate resistance to high temperatures and self-extinguishing properties in case of ignition. The device dimensions are only 15×63×54.5 mm, making it a compact solution even in tight distribution boards.
A special design feature is the metal foot, which allows the use of the mounting rail as an additional protective conductor. The ergonomic shape of the conductor entries significantly facilitates insertion during installation.
Operating parameters and compatibility
The device operates at a rated current of 125A and a voltage of up to 800V, allowing for application in most low-voltage installations. The operating temperature range is from -5°C to +40°C, ensuring stable operation in typical distribution board conditions.
Conductor cross-sections:
- Solid: 2.5-50 mm²
- Stranded without ferrule: 2.5-50 mm²
- Stranded with ferrule: 4-35 mm²
Mounting is performed on a standard DIN TH-35mm rail, and the product has Ex-e explosion-proof certification.
Application and functionality
The connector belongs to the Viking 3 family - a system of modular terminal blocks that allow for the creation of multi-rail configurations. Each block has 1 level and 2 clamping positions (1 input + 1 output), allowing for simple circuit continuation.
The system is equipped with 2 zones for equipotential combs for automatic insertion, and a special linking pin holds the blocks together, facilitating manipulation and ensuring perfect alignment on the rail.
The green-yellow color identifies the product as an element dedicated to PE protective circuits - this color scheme is an industry standard for this type of electrical connection.
