Professional rail terminal block for universal electrical connections

The Viking 3 LEGRAND terminal block is a single-level rail terminal block with a width of 6 mm, designed to make reliable electrical and mechanical connections of two copper wires in power installations. Thanks to its screw connection and compatibility with a wide range of wire cross-sections (from 0.25 to 6 mm²), it serves as a universal solution for both professional installers and end users.

Technical parameters and wire compatibility

The device supports cross-sections from 0.25 to 6 mm² for solid wires and stranded wires without ferrules, while for stranded wires with ferrules and multi-core wires, the range is 0.25 to 4 mm². A rated current of 32 A at a voltage of 800 V ensures safe operation in typical low-voltage installations.

The operating temperature range from -5°C to +40°C allows for installation in various environmental conditions, and the thermoplastic insulation material guarantees durability and resistance to operating conditions.

Construction and mounting requirements

The compact design with dimensions of 6 × 46.5 × 52.5 mm (width × height × depth) allows for efficient use of space in electrical switchboards. Mounting is performed on a standard 35 mm DIN rail, which simplifies installation in existing systems.

The terminal block features two bridging points for jumpers with a width of up to 8 mm, enabling equipotential bonding between adjacent modules. An end plate is also required to ensure the safe operation of the entire system.

Compliance and safety certificates

The product meets the highest quality standards confirmed by international certificates: UL (60900), ATEX-LCIE, VERITAS, IMQ-CA02, and the French standard NF App Domestic. The explosion-proof design, confirmed by the "Ex e" symbol, allows for use in explosive atmospheres.
