The Viking 1 single-level terminal block with a 6 mm² cross-section in blue is a compact solution for electrical connections in distribution boards and installation boxes. Specifically designed for single-core wires with a cross-section of 0.5-10 mm² and multi-core wires of 0.25-6 mm², it enables secure and durable screw connections in installations with a rated current of 41A at a voltage of 800V.

Technical parameters and wire compatibility

The device supports a wide range of wire types: solid single-core (0.5-10 mm²) and flexible stranded (0.25-10 mm²) both without and with ferrule end sleeves (0.25-6 mm²). For multi-core wires, the range is 0.25-6 mm². The connection is implemented via a proven screw connection, which ensures stable electrical contact even under varying thermal conditions.

An operating temperature range of -5°C to +40°C allows for installation in various environmental conditions, and the Ex-e confirmed explosion-proof design guarantees safe use in explosion-hazard zones.

Construction and mounting

The compact housing with dimensions of 8 × 46.5 × 52.5 mm (width × height × depth) fits standard on a DIN rail TH35 mounting rail. The single-level construction contains 2 terminals per level, allowing for the parallel connection of two wires. The insulating material made of thermoplastic with a flammability class of UL94 V2 ensures resistance to high temperatures and self-extinguishing properties.

Internal levels are not bridged to each other, allowing for individual configuration of each level. A required end plate protects against accidental contact with live components.

The product meets European standard requirements and has the CN classification: 85389099. The "EEx e" type explosion-proof design confirms its suitability for use in installations requiring enhanced safety.
