This 60W DIN rail switching power supply from the DRC series is a versatile solution that combines the function of a stable power supply and a battery charger. Thanks to this, it is ideal for security systems, access control, monitoring, and anywhere where voltage stabilization is required in the event of a mains power failure. Designed for mounting on a DIN rail, it provides convenient installation and saves space.

Functionality and protection

The DRC-60A power supply offers two outputs: a main one with a voltage of 13.8V and a current of 4.3A, and an additional one dedicated to charging the battery with a current of 1.5A. This allows you to create an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system that will ensure the continuous operation of devices even during power outages. Built-in protections protect both the power supply itself and the connected devices from the effects of incorrect operation or failure. These include:

• short-circuit protection (SCP),
• overload protection (OLP),
• overvoltage protection (OVP),
• low battery voltage protection (UVP),
• reverse battery polarity protection.

Additionally, AC OK and low battery level alarm signals allow you to continuously monitor the system status and react to potential problems.

Construction and operating parameters

The power supply operates within a wide range of input voltage AC 90-264V and DC 124-370V, making it compatible with various electrical installations. Efficiency at 86% translates to minimal energy losses and reduced operating costs. The housing made of ABS plastic ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Thanks to the open cooling system, the power supply can operate in a wide temperature range – from -30°C to +70°C – which guarantees reliability even in harsh environmental conditions. Adjustment of the output voltage of 13.8V in the range of 12-15V allows you to adapt the operating parameters to the specific requirements of connected devices. LEDs indicate the operating status of the power supply, making it easier to diagnose any problems.
