Universal 30W switch-mode power supply

The AC/DC IRM-30-5ST module is a switch-mode power supply with a power of 30W, delivering a voltage of 5V DC with an output current of up to 6A. It is a compact solution ideal for applications in electronics, industrial automation and telecommunications. Thanks to its design, this power supply can be directly soldered onto a printed circuit board, making it easy to integrate with the device. The "ST" version is equipped with convenient screw terminals for connecting wires.

Construction and application

The IRM-30 series power supplies are characterized by a wide input voltage range (85-264VAC, 120-370VDC), which ensures compatibility with various electrical networks. These are open-frame power supplies designed for mounting inside devices. Small dimensions (91x39.5x28.5mm) and high power density make them ideal for applications where space is limited. Soldering the module directly onto the PCB allows for optimal use of space and minimizes energy losses.

Safety and reliability

The IRM-30-5ST power supply has a number of protections: short-circuit, overvoltage and overload, which guarantees safe and reliable operation. In addition, it meets the requirements of many standards and certificates and is characterized by high resistance to vibration (5G). The no-load power consumption is very low – below 0.1W – which translates into energy savings. Class II insulation provides additional safety. The operating temperature from -30°C to +70°C allows the power supply to be used in harsh environmental conditions.
