The DDRH-240-12 is a high-efficiency DC/DC converter dedicated to applications requiring conversion from high DC voltage to low. The device is characterized by an exceptionally wide input voltage range of 250~1500 VDC, making it an ideal solution in photovoltaic, wind and other applications powered by unstable DC sources. The output power of 240W allows powering various devices requiring up to 16.7A at 12V.

Design and mounting

The converter is designed for mounting on a standard DIN TS-35/7.5 or 15 rail, which facilitates its integration into control cabinets and switchgear. Compact dimensions (85.5 x 125.2 x 129.2 mm) allow for efficient use of space. Thanks to the possibility of installation at high altitudes (up to 5000m), the converter will work well even in difficult environmental conditions.

Safety and reliability

The DDRH-240-12 provides comprehensive protection against short circuit, overload, overvoltage, overheating and reverse polarity. Additionally, it has I/O galvanic isolation with a withstand voltage of 4kVDC, which increases safety and minimizes the risk of damage. Output status signaling via a DC OK relay allows for remote monitoring of the device's operation. The device is covered by a 3-year warranty from the manufacturer - MEAN WELL - which proves its high quality and reliability. The output voltage regulation is +20%, which ensures stable power supply to connected receivers even with fluctuations in input voltage. Cooling is done naturally (convection), which eliminates the need for additional fans and reduces operating costs.
