KNX Power Supply – a reliable energy source for smart installations

This dedicated KNX power supply, with a power of 38.4W and an output voltage of 30V DC (1.28A), is designed to stably power devices in building automation systems based on the KNX standard. It will work well in both new and modernized facilities where high reliability and efficiency are required. The device is characterized by its compact size (4SU – 72mm wide) and the possibility of mounting on a DIN TS35 rail, which facilitates its integration with the existing infrastructure.

Functionality and safety in one device

The KNX-40E-1280D power supply offers not only a stable power supply but also a number of functions protecting the installation against failures. It has built-in short-circuit protection, overload protection (reacting at 205-235% of the rated current) and overvoltage protection. In addition, a built-in choke prevents interference on the KNX bus, and an LED indicator informs about the operating status of the device – normal operation, overload or reset. A bus reset button allows you to quickly restore system operation in case of communication problems.

User comfort and diagnostics

The power supply is equipped with LEDs indicating the operating status: bus voltage, output current, internal temperature and telegram traffic on the bus. This allows for quick diagnosis of potential problems and effective troubleshooting. A wide operating temperature range (-30°C to +70°C) allows it to be used in various environmental conditions. The ability to monitor operating parameters (output voltage, output current, temperature) via the KNX bus allows for remote diagnostics and optimization of system performance. The no-load power consumption is very low – below 0.5W – which translates into energy savings.
