The product ensures a reliable and safe connection for conductors with a cross-section of from 1.5 mm² to 16 mm², operating at a voltage of 1000V AC/DC and a current of up to 180A.
Construction and materials
The body and clamping screw are made of high-strength steel grade 11, subjected to electro-galvanizing, ensuring high corrosion resistance and long-term operation in various environmental conditions. The clamping element is a stainless steel spring, providing constant conductor pressure and stability of the electrical connection.
The terminal width is 12 mm, and its design is specifically intended for flat busbars. Installation is facilitated by a hexagonal screw head (Pz 2), allowing tightening with a flat wrench, socket wrench, or Phillips/slotted screwdriver. The tightening torque is 3 Nm, ensuring optimal pressure without risk of conductor damage.
Application and compatibility
The MAE0161E15 terminal is designed for connecting round conductors with a cross-section from 1.5 mm² to a maximum of 16 mm². The product is not suitable for ribbon or sector-shaped conductors, which should be considered when planning the installation. Thanks to its universal electrical parameters, it is suitable for a wide range of applications—from residential distribution boards to industrial installations.
A busbar with a thickness of 10 mm is standard in most modern distribution boards, making this terminal an ideal solution for both new installations and upgrades of existing systems. The product meets the requirements of ETIM classification EC000001 and CN8 standards coded as 85369001.
