Busbar Terminal MAE0165E15
The busbar terminal MAE0165E15 is a connection component designed for mounting on copper busbars with a thickness of 5mm. The product enables the connection of conductors with a cross-section of 1.5‑16mm² at a maximum current of 180A and voltage of 1000V AC/DC.
Construction and Materials
The terminal body is made of grade 11 steel, characterized by high mechanical strength. All steel components have undergone zinc galvanizing, providing corrosion protection. The pressure spring, made of stainless steel, ensures stable conductor clamping throughout the entire service life.
The terminal width is 12mm, allowing installation in switchboards with limited space. The hexagonal screw head enables tightening using a standard hex key or Pz2 Phillips screwdriver.
Application and Compatibility
The MAE0165E15 terminal is intended for flat busbars made of copper. The product enables the connection of round conductors with a cross-section from 1.5mm² to 16mm².
According to the manufacturer's technical data, the MAE-E series allows conductor mounting up to 185mm², depending on the terminal type, and flexible Moflex busbars up to dimensions 10x20mm.
Operating Parameters and Safety
The product is designed for operation at voltages up to 1000V AC/DC, making it suitable for standard electrical installations. The maximum operating current is 180A, enabling the powering of high-power circuits.
The screw tightening torque is 3Nm, ensuring optimal conductor clamping without risk of damage. The visible tightening torque facilitates precise adjustment of the clamping force.
Installation Advantages
Terminal installation does not require complex tools or specialized knowledge - mounting on the busbar is performed using a standard hex key. The design allows easy connection and disconnection of conductors during maintenance or modernization works.
According to the manufacturer's data, the hexagonal head (except for model MAE16E) enables screw tightening using a hex key with a slotted blade or a Phillips screwdriver.
