Universal solution for aluminum and copper conductors

The OTL150-2 terminal block is an advanced solution designed for the secure connection of conductors made of both aluminum and copper across a wide range of cross-sections 25-150 mm². Thanks to innovative tinning technology, it enables a direct connection of Al/Cu conductors without the need for additional Cu/Al adapters or special bimetallic ferrules.

The device operates at a rated voltage of 1000V AC/1500V DC and a current of 640A, making it an ideal choice for low-voltage and medium-voltage installations. The operating temperature range from -25°C to +80°C ensures reliability in various environmental conditions.

Construction and materials

The terminal block body is made of high-quality PA66 thermoplastic, which features a flammability class of V0 according to UL94, guaranteeing maximum operational safety. Factory-applied contact grease protects the electrical contact point and ensures the terminal block is ready for use immediately after removal from the packaging.

The compact design with dimensions of 51×54×84 mm fits into a standard modular enclosure. The terminal block has 1 tier with 4 terminals per tier, allowing for flexible connection configuration. The internal tiers are factory-bridged, simplifying the installation process.

Electrical parameters and safety

The terminal block has passed rigorous mechanical, load, and short-circuit tests, achieving short-circuit class A. This means it can be used as main power terminals in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits. The device complies with the requirements of EN 60947 and EN 61238 standards, holding UL 1059 and SGS FI certificates.

The ClickSet™ mounting mechanism allows for rapid attachment to a TH-35 mm DIN rail or alternatively using No.6 hex screws. The tightening torque is 14 Nm for 25-50 mm² conductors and 30 Nm for 70-150 mm² conductors, respectively.

Application and compatibility

Its universal characteristics make the terminal block widely applicable in power engineering, industry, as well as residential and photovoltaic installations. It is compatible with all types of conductors: solid wires, stranded wires, and both rigid and multi-stranded sector cables.

Available in five color versions: gray, blue, yellow-green, red, and black - enabling easy identification of functions within the installation. The IP20 protection rating provides basic protection against contact with live parts while maintaining adequate ventilation for the device.
