The OTL240-2 connector is a professional distribution component designed for a wide range of applications - from power generation and industry to residential installations and photovoltaics. Thanks to innovative technology, it enables safe connection of aluminum and copper conductors with cross-sections of 35-240 mm², eliminating the need for additional adapters or special bimetallic terminals.

Construction and material compatibility

The housing is made of thermoplastic material with flammability class V0 (UL94), ensuring maximum operational safety. A special galvanizing technology enables direct Al/Cu conductor connection without the risk of galvanic corrosion. The factory-applied contact paste guarantees protection of the electrical contact point immediately upon removal from packaging.

Versatility is demonstrated through compatibility with various conductor types:

• Stranded conductors (with/without crimped sleeves): 35-185 mm²
• Multi-core conductors: 35-240 mm²
• Solid wires and single-strand or multi-strand cables

Operating parameters and safety

The device operates within a voltage range of 1000V AC / 1500V DC at a rated current of 850A. The operating temperature range (-25°C to +80°C) enables use in harsh environmental conditions. The compact design (60×65×106 mm) fits on a standard DIN rail TH-35 mm.

The connector features internally bridged levels, enabling efficient energy distribution. Four screw terminals on one level provide connection flexibility while maintaining an organized installation structure.

Regulatory compliance and safety classification

The product meets the requirements of standards EN 60947 and EN 61238, holding UL 1059 and SGS FI certifications. It undergoes rigorous mechanical and short-circuit load tests, achieving short-circuit class A. This allows its use as main supply terminals in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits.

The ClickSet™ mounting mechanism enables quick installation on a DIN rail or alternatively via screws for greater installation flexibility. The IP20 protection rating guards against accidental contact with live parts.
