Compact Distribution Block for Single-Phase Power Distribution

The Moblock MAB2126A18 distribution block is a compact and efficient device for safe power distribution in single-phase installations. Designed to meet the requirements of industrial, commercial, and residential environments, it ensures reliable connections for loads up to 125A at a rated voltage of 1000V AC/DC.

Durable Construction and Materials

The block housing is made of self-extinguishing plastic rated UL 94 V-0, characterized by high resistance to temperature and mechanical damage. Conductive parts are made of brass – a material with high electrical conductivity and natural corrosion resistance, ensuring stable electrical parameters throughout the entire service life.

Clamping screws are made of galvanized steel, ensuring durable connections and resistance to galvanic corrosion. The special terminal design allows connection of conductors with various cross-sections – from 1.5 mm² to 35 mm² for rigid conductors and up to 25 mm² for flexible conductors with ferrule terminals.

Installation Safety and Control

The transparent plastic cover not only protects against accidental contact with live parts but also enables visual inspection of connection status without disassembly. Each busbar is isolated from the others by insulation barriers, minimizing the risk of phase-to-phase short circuits and improving overall installation safety.

The block exhibits high resistance to fault conditions – peak short-circuit current Ipk is 19 kA, and short-circuit withstand capacity is 8 kA for 1 second. Additionally, the device withstands voltage surges up to 8 kV, making it resistant to typical network disturbances.

Mounting Versatility and Connection Configuration

The design allows mounting on both standard DIN rails TS35 and on mounting plates using screws. The terminal strips are fully removable – they can be easily taken out from special latches, significantly facilitating the installation of conductors located in deeper layers of the installation, especially at the extreme branch terminals.

The connection configuration includes:

• 2 main inputs with cross-section up to 35 mm² each
• 2 additional inputs with cross-section up to 25 mm² each
• 11 auxiliary outputs with cross-section from 1.5 to 6 mm² each

This configuration allows flexible management of power distribution – from main supply lines to local branches for individual circuits.
