The Moblock MAB4126A18 distribution block is a professional device designed for efficient power distribution in three-phase installations. Its four-pole construction enables safe cable management in low-voltage distribution boards and control cabinets, while ensuring easy installation and the highest safety standards.
Construction and materials ensuring reliability
The block housing is made of self-extinguishing plastic with high thermal and mechanical resistance, guaranteeing long-term operation in demanding industrial conditions. Conductive parts made of brass provide excellent electrical conductivity and natural corrosion resistance, eliminating problems with connection overheating.
Galvanized steel terminal screws ensure mechanical durability and connection stability even with frequent load changes. Each busbar is insulated from the others using insulating barriers, minimizing the risk of phase-to-phase short circuits and improving overall installation safety.
Safety and connection control
Transparent plastic covers protect against accidental contact with live parts while enabling visual inspection of all connection statuses. This solution significantly facilitates installation diagnostics and accelerates service and maintenance work.
The reinforced housing provides additional mechanical protection against damage, which is particularly important in industrial environments where blocks are exposed to vibrations and shocks.
Connection flexibility and operating parameters
The four-pole construction offers 15 terminals per pole, allowing very flexible power distribution management. The ability to connect conductors of various cross-sections (flexible with ferrule ends from 1.5 to 25 mm² and solid/multi-strand rigid conductors from 1.5 to 35 mm²) eliminates the need for additional intermediate components.
The maximum rated current of 125A at 500V AC/DC makes the block suitable for most standard three-phase applications. A short-circuit withstand capability of 4.2 kA for 1 second and a peak short-circuit current of 19 kA ensure safe operation even during emergency installation conditions.
Installation and practical application
The block can be easily mounted on standard TS35 DIN rails or directly on mounting plates using screws. Compact dimensions (97×52×137 mm) allow space saving in distribution cabinets, while a weight of approximately 395g facilitates handling during installation.
The terminal strips are fully removable - they can be easily taken out from special latches, significantly simplifying the installation of conductors located in deeper installation layers, especially at extreme branch strips. This feature is invaluable during modernization of existing installations or adding new circuits to already operational switchgear.
The block is also equipped with separate PE (protective) and N (neutral) busbars, simplifying the routing of grounding and neutral conductors according to current industry standards.
