The OJL280A distribution block is a professional device designed for the safe distribution of larger cross-section conductors into several smaller installation branches. Designed for demanding industrial and commercial applications, it offers reliable connections for loads up to 280A at a voltage of 1000V AC/DC.

Construction and materials ensuring durability

The block housing is made of tin-plated aluminum, which guarantees excellent resistance to weather conditions and corrosion. The insulating covers are made of polyamide PA66, providing high mechanical and thermal strength. The aluminum terminals undergo a tinning process to eliminate galvanic issues in Al-Cu connections, resulting in long-term connection stability.

The maximum operating temperature is 80°C, and the IP20 protection rating protects against accidental contact with live parts. Compact dimensions (44.4 × 97 × 51 mm) allow for optimal space utilization in distribution cabinets.

Electrical characteristics and safety

The OJL280A model supports an input for Al/Cu conductors with cross-sections from 35 to 120 mm², ensuring versatility for both aluminum and copper installations. Distribution is carried out through 12 connection points:

• 2 outputs for 6-35 mm² conductors
• 5 outputs for 2.5-16 mm² conductors
• 4 outputs for 2.5-10 mm² conductors

The device meets the requirements of standards EN 61238-1:2003 and EN 60947-7-1:2009, holding Class A certification confirming the highest level of electrical safety.

Flexible mounting and versatile application

The block can be mounted on a standard DIN rail or using screws on a solid surface, providing installation flexibility in various types of switchgear. The screws are tightened with an Allen key, ensuring secure mechanical connections.

Versions with the AF designation allow for the connection of flexible MOFLEX busbars with dimensions of 10×25 mm, enabling the creation of complex power distribution systems in industrial applications.

The block is intended for indoor installation in distribution cabinets and electrical switchgear.
