Flexible PVC-Insulated Copper Busbar – Solution for Densely Designed Installations

The MOFLEX busbar is not just a bus conductor – it is a compact solution that replaces traditional copper cables with larger cross-sections. Thanks to the use of 99.90% pure Cu-ETP copper strips and a special construction, it achieves a current-carrying capacity of 416 A with a cross-section of 74.4 mm² – less than half the cross-section of a traditional cable with similar performance. This means: smaller volume, more power – without compromise.

The self-extinguishing PVC insulation in black color (UL 94 V-0) not only protects against short circuits but is also resistant to mechanical damage and high voltages – the insulation strength exceeds 20 kV/mm. It operates stably in extreme temperatures: from -40°C to 105°C, making it suitable both for cold rooms and for environments with high ambient temperatures.

The busbar's flexibility (up to 200% elongation) allows for easy installation even in hard-to-reach places – no additional connectors or complex bends are required. Installation is faster, and the circuit is more organized. Compared to standard flexible busbars, this model has a 25% smaller cross-section, and compared to traditional copper cables – up to 60% smaller. This means: space savings on DIN rails or in switchboards.

The product is manufactured in Germany – ensuring not only high-quality workmanship but also controlled electrical parameters: rated voltage up to 1000 V AC / 1500 V DC. No additional corrosion protection is required – electrolytic copper is resistant to oxidation, and the insulation protects against moisture and chemicals.
