The MOFLEX busbar is not an ordinary cable – it is a compact yet high-performance busbar made of 99.90% pure electrolytic copper Cu-ETP, replacing thicker cables without compromising current-carrying capacity. Thanks to its special construction using copper strips, it offers a cross-section of 200 mm² while occupying 60% less space than a traditional copper cable with the same current-carrying capability. This means: reduced volume in switchboards, easier installation in tight spaces, and no need to expand cable ducts.

The self-extinguishing PVC insulation (UL 94 V-0) not only protects against short circuits – it also acts as a mechanical and thermal barrier. It does not crack when bent, does not degrade at temperatures up to 105°C, and does not propagate flames even under direct fire exposure. The black color is not accidental – it reduces light reflection and better masks dirt in industrial environments.

Flexibility is a key advantage: the busbar can elongate by 200% without damaging its interior, allowing easy adaptation to irregular circuit shapes, even with multiple bends. No additional curved elements or complex mounting systems are required. Installation is faster, and connections more precise – especially when changing direction or working in areas with limited accessibility.

It operates reliably under extreme conditions – from -40°C to +105°C. This means it is suitable for both industrial cold rooms and installations near motors or transformers. The rated voltage of 1000 V AC / 1500 V DC and insulation strength exceeding 20 kV/mm ensure safety even in high-current systems.

Manufactured in Germany, it meets the requirements for commercial and industrial installations without the need for additional certification – proper terminal selection and correct installation are sufficient. No special tools or techniques are required – a standard set of screws and wrenches is enough.
