The MSCL240 bolted connector is a professional device for connecting aluminum and copper conductors in applications up to 12 kV. It utilizes break-off bolt technology, which enables fast and trouble-free installation using a standard socket wrench, eliminating the need for specialized crimping tools.

High-quality construction and materials

The connector body is made of a high-strength aluminum alloy, coated with a tin layer. Tin plating ensures excellent compatibility with both aluminum and copper conductors while simultaneously protecting against corrosion. Two aluminum break-off bolts are coated with a special antioxidant grease, which eliminates oxidation at electrical contact points and ensures long-term performance.

The bolts are designed so that shearing occurs at a strictly defined tightening torque required for an optimal electrical and mechanical connection. This precision engineering guarantees repeatable installation results.

Versatility of application and compatibility

The connector supports conductors with cross-sections from 120 to 240 mm² in RM (round solid), RE (round flexible), SE (sector), and SM (mixed) configurations. It is compatible with conductors featuring plastic insulation or oil-impregnated paper. The design is fully waterproof, allowing for installation both indoors and outdoors.

The compact design requires minimal installation space, which is particularly important for larger conductor cross-sections. The connector is compatible with most termination kits from various manufacturers.
