The MSCM095 screw connector is an advanced device for connecting aluminum and copper conductors in applications up to 36 kV. It utilizes shear bolt technology, which allows for installation using a standard socket wrench - without the need for specialized crimping tools. This significantly simplifies the installation process and eliminates the risk of assembly errors.
High-quality construction and materials
The connector body is made of high-strength aluminum alloy, which has undergone a tinning process. This design ensures excellent compatibility with both aluminum conductors (cross-sections 16-95 mm²) and copper conductors (cross-sections 16-70 mm²). The tinned surface protects against corrosion and ensures a long-lasting electrical connection.
Two aluminum shear bolts are designed to break at a precisely defined tightening torque. Each bolt is coated with a special anti-oxidant grease, which eliminates oxidation at electrical contact points and ensures optimal conductivity.
Design and environmental properties
The product is characterized by oil-tightness and the presence of a central partition, making it ideal for use in harsh industrial conditions. The connector is waterproof and suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.
