Compact 4-Pole Distribution Block for Distribution Boards

The Moblock 4P distribution block is a compact and efficient device for safe power distribution in low-voltage distribution boards and control cabinets. Designed for industrial, commercial, and residential applications, it offers reliable connections while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Durable Construction and Materials

The block housing is made of high-quality PA66 polyamide and polycarbonate, ensuring mechanical and thermal resistance. Conductive parts are made of brass—a material with high electrical conductivity and natural corrosion resistance. Zinc-plated steel clamping screws ensure durable wire connections over many years of operation.

Transparent plastic covers protect against accidental contact with live parts and allow visual inspection of connection status. Insulating barriers between busbars minimize the risk of short circuits, enhancing the safety of the entire installation.

Operating Parameters and Connection Capabilities

The 4-pole design supports a rated current of up to 125A at 500V AC/DC. Each pole is equipped with 11 terminals, enabling flexible power distribution to multiple auxiliary circuits.

The connection configuration includes:

• 2 main inputs with cross-section 10-35 mm²
• 2 medium-power outputs with cross-section 10-25 mm²
• 7 auxiliary outputs with cross-section 1.5-6 mm²

The block supports rigid (solid and stranded) and flexible wires with ferrule terminals in the range of 1.5-35 mm². Thanks to removable terminal strips, wiring installation in deeper layers is significantly simplified.

Safety and Certification

The device meets the requirements of standards EN 60947-1 and EN 60947-7-5, ensuring full compliance with European safety standards. Short-circuit withstand capacity is 4.2 kA for 1 second, and peak impulse current reaches 19 kA.

Insulating materials feature a flammability class of UL94 V0, indicating self-extinguishing properties upon flame contact. The impulse voltage rating is 8 kV, protecting the installation against atmospheric overvoltages.

Installation and Application Versatility

The block can be mounted on standard DIN rails or directly onto mounting plates using screws. Compact dimensions (97×108×52 mm) allow space savings in distribution boards while maintaining full functionality.

Inclusion of PE (protective) and N (neutral) busbars enables comprehensive management of all wire types in the installation. The screw tightening torque is 2.5 Nm, ensuring optimal wire clamping without risk of damage.
