Multi-hole cable entry for demanding installations

The MC35/37 IP67 multi-hole entry allows for the routing and sealing of 37 conductors simultaneously at a single installation point. Thanks to its membrane design, it enables fast and secure cable passage through switchgear enclosures and control cabinets.

Construction and materials

The entry body is made of high-quality thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which provides excellent flexibility while maintaining service durability. The material is halogen-free and silicone-free, making it safe for the environment and user health. The base frame is reinforced with galvanized steel, guaranteeing mounting stability even in difficult operating conditions.

The membrane-type design allows for the creation of holes of various diameters directly in the material using a simple tool. The entries are mounted using screws through Ø9,5mm holes.

Multi-hole system and configuration

The entry offers precisely planned 37 connection holes in the following configuration:

• 4 holes for conductors with a diameter of 6-10mm
• 14 holes for conductors with a diameter of 8-12mm
• 16 holes for conductors with a diameter of 10-14mm
• 2 holes for conductors with a diameter of 12-18mm
• 1 hole for a conductor with a diameter of 17-32mm

This distribution enables the simultaneous routing of diverse conductor types – from thin signal cables to thick power cables – while maintaining optimal packing density.

IP67 protection and double sealing

The IP67 protection rating ensures full dust tightness and resistance to temporary immersion in water. A particular advantage is maintaining this protection class even with significant conductor bending – a typical situation in installation practice where cables are not always routed perfectly straight.

The double sealing system ensures an IP66/IP67 protection rating even with bent conductors.

Operating parameters and compatibility

The device operates reliably in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +100°C, allowing for use in both cold storage and high process temperatures. The UL94 V0 flammability rating ensures the safety of material use.

Mounting is performed using screws through Ø9,5mm holes in standard FL21 (C-opening) cutouts. Overall dimensions are: width 222mm, length 92mm, mounting height 43mm.

Practical applications

The RAL7035 grey color scheme ensures an aesthetic appearance of the installation both inside and outside buildings. The entry is suitable for indoor and outdoor use regardless of weather conditions.
