The OJL280A distribution block is a professional device for the safe and efficient splitting of conductors with larger cross-sections into several smaller branches. Designed for operation in demanding industrial and commercial environments, it offers reliable connections while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Construction and materials ensuring durability

The block housing is made of tinned aluminum, guaranteeing excellent resistance to atmospheric conditions and long service life even in harsh working environments. Insulating components are made of high-quality polyamide PA66, providing effective protection against accidental contact and dielectric stability across the entire operating temperature range.

The compact design with dimensions 44.4 × 97 × 51 mm allows for optimal use of space in distribution cabinets and electrical switchboards. The device weighs approximately 178 grams, facilitating installation without excessive structural loading.

Operating parameters and connection capabilities

The device operates at a rated voltage up to 1000V AC/DC, handling a current of 280A for copper conductors and 250A for aluminum conductors. The maximum operating temperature is 80°C, and the IP20 protection rating ensures basic protection against direct contact.

The block offers a universal input for Al/Cu conductors with a cross-section from 35 to 120 mm², enabling connection of the main supply using both copper and aluminum conductors. There are 12 connection points in total: one main input and eleven outputs with varying capacities - 2 outputs for 6-35mm² conductors, 5 outputs for 2.5-16mm² conductors, and 4 outputs for 2.5-10mm² conductors.

Installation and mounting flexibility

The block can be mounted on a standard DIN rail or using screws on a solid surface. The screws are tightened with an Allen key, ensuring secure connections without the risk of loosening during operation.

Models marked with AF and AFS are specifically designed for connecting flexible busbars MOFLEX with dimensions 10×25 mm or several busbars 1×25 mm, enabling the creation of complex installation configurations with full connection stability.

The OJL280A distribution block meets the requirements of European standards EN 60947-7-1:2009 and EN 61238-1:2003, possessing Class A certification guaranteeing the highest level of operational safety.
