The OJL80A distribution block in green is a professional device designed for safe and efficient splitting of larger cross-section conductors into several smaller circuits. Thanks to compatibility with both aluminum and copper conductors and high technical parameters, the device is used in distribution boards, switchgear, and photovoltaic systems.

Construction and materials

The terminals of the OJL blocks are made of tinned aluminum, ensuring excellent resistance to atmospheric conditions and long service life even in demanding operating environments. The housing is made of polycarbonate in green, which facilitates identification in distribution boards and is particularly recommended for use as a protective conductor (PE).

The single-pole construction offers 8 connections - 2 inputs for Al/Cu conductors with a cross-section of 2.5-16 mm² and 6 outputs for Cu conductors with a cross-section of 2.5-6 mm². Screw connections are tightened using an Allen key no. 2, with tightening torques of 1 Nm for conductors 2.5-6 mm² and 6 Nm for conductors 2.5-16 mm².

Operating parameters and safety

The device operates at a rated voltage up to 1000V AC/DC, and in the case of direct current, even up to 1500V DC, making it an ideal solution for both standard AC networks and advanced photovoltaic systems. The rated current is 80A, enabling the handling of high-power circuits while maintaining full connection safety.

The maximum operating temperature is +80°C, and the IP20 protection rating ensures safe operation in indoor conditions. The integrated insulating touch protection effectively guards against accidental contact with live parts, significantly enhancing operational safety.

OJL blocks feature flexible mounting options - they can be installed on a standard DIN rail or directly on a flat surface using screws. Compact dimensions (height: 40.6 mm, width: 23.6 mm, depth: 52 mm) allow for optimal space utilization in control cabinets and distribution boards.

The net weight of the device is only 0.038 kg, facilitating installation and avoiding additional load on the distribution board structure.
