TN-C to TN-C-S installation conversion
The universal OTL-PEN150 terminal block enables the separation of the PEN neutral-protective conductor into separate neutral (N) and protective (PE) conductors, increasing the safety level and clarity of the electrical installation.
Construction and materials
The terminal block body is made of thermoplastic material in the UL94 V0 flammability class, which guarantees resistance to high temperatures and self-extinguishing properties in case of fire. The conductive elements are made of tin-plated aluminum, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance when in contact with different metals.
The ClickSet™ mounting mechanism allows for attachment to a TH-35 mm DIN rail, significantly accelerating the installation process. Alternatively, screw mounting is possible, increasing application flexibility in various types of distribution boards.
Electrical properties
The terminal block operates at a rated voltage of up to 1000V AC/1500V DC, making it suitable for both standard building installations and industrial applications. The rated current of 640A according to ETIM classification provides an adequate safety margin for most typical loads.
The operating temperature range of -25°C to +80°C allows for use in harsh environmental conditions, from cold storage to high-temperature rooms. Compact dimensions of 51×54×84 mm allow for economical use of space in the distribution board.
Versatility of connections and material compatibility
The design supports aluminum and copper conductors with cross-sections of 25-150 mm², both solid and stranded, including those with ferrule ends. The possibility of connecting more than one conductor to each terminal (according to the connection table) significantly increases installation flexibility.
Four available screw connections allow for the creation of diverse circuit configurations, and the internal tiers are factory-bridged to simplify wiring.
Safety and color identification
The use of yellow-green and blue colors in individual terminals enables unambiguous determination of the PEN conductor split point into N and PE conductors. This color identification significantly facilitates the organization of the electrical installation in the distribution board and its subsequent maintenance or modification.
Short-circuit class A confirms the possibility of use before main protective devices, and the IP20 protection rating protects against accidental contact with live parts.
Normative compliance and certificates
The product meets the requirements of European standards EN 60947-7-1:2009 and EN 61238:2003. The UL1059 certificate guarantees international compliance and the possibility of use in applications requiring American certification.
