The OTL-PEN95 connector is an advanced solution enabling the safe and clear conversion of electrical installations from TN-C to TN-C-S systems. Thanks to the use of color-coded terminals - yellow-green for the protective conductor PE and blue for the neutral conductor N - installers and end users receive an unambiguous tool for identifying the PEN conductor split point.

Material versatility and wide range of cross-sections

The design based on 2xAl/Cu technology allows for compatibility with both aluminum and copper conductors of any type. The cross-section range of 6-95 mm² covers most standard applications in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The terminals support both single-core and multi-core conductors, providing flexibility in cable selection.

The screw connection mechanism guarantees a secure and durable electrical connection. The tightening torque, adjusted to the conductor cross-section (12 Nm for 6-25 mm² and 22 Nm for 35-95 mm²), eliminates the risk of overheating or loosening of the connection during operation.

High electrical parameters and safety

The device operates at a rated voltage of 1000V AC/1500V DC, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications. The rated current of 490 A (value according to ETIM standard) provides a large safety margin for typical installation loads.

The operating temperature range of -25°C to +80°C enables use in diverse environmental conditions - from cold storage to high-temperature rooms. The housing made of PA66 thermoplastic is characterized by a UL94 V0 flammability rating, confirming high fire resistance.

Mounting design and compatibility

A width of 42 mm, height of 51 mm, and depth of 84 mm allow for compact installation in electrical distribution boards. Mounting on a TH-35 mm DIN rail using the ClickSet™ mechanism enables fast and secure fastening without the use of additional tools.

The single-level design includes internally bridged tiers, which simplifies wiring and reduces the number of connections in the distribution board. Four terminals per level provide flexibility in routing supply and load conductors.

Regulatory compliance and certification

The connector meets the requirements of standards EN 60947-7-1:2009 and EN 61238:2003, confirming its compliance with European electrical safety standards. Short-circuit class A guarantees resistance to short-circuit currents occurring in typical power installations.

The IP20 protection rating protects against accidental contact with live parts, while simultaneously allowing free air exchange inside the distribution board for optimal heat dissipation.

Practical applications in installation modernization

The solution is particularly useful when modernizing older installations made in the TN-C system, where separating the neutral and protective functions is required according to modern safety standards. Color coding significantly facilitates later maintenance and installation modifications by various specialists.
