Universal solution for Al/Cu installations

The OTL240 terminal is a modern universal terminal designed for the secure connection of aluminum and copper conductors with cross-sections from 35 to 240 mm². Thanks to innovative galvanizing technology, it enables the direct connection of Al/Cu conductors without the need for additional adapters or bimetallic ferrules.

The product is effective in a wide spectrum of applications - from power engineering and industry to residential installations and photovoltaic systems. A single terminal handles various types of conductors: solid wires, stranded wires, and sector conductors, both rigid and flexible, which significantly simplifies the installation process and minimizes the risk of assembly errors.

High technical parameters and safety

The terminal offers a rated voltage of 1000V AC/1500V DC and a rated current of 425A for copper conductors and 380A for aluminum conductors. This range of parameters makes it an ideal choice for both low-voltage and medium-voltage installations.

The housing is made of thermoplastic material (Polyamide 66) with a flammability rating of UL94 V-0, ensuring maximum operational safety even in difficult environmental conditions. The product undergoes rigorous mechanical, load, and short-circuit tests, achieving short-circuit class A - the highest level of safety for applications exposed to current overloads.

The operating temperature range is from -25°C to +80°C, and the protection rating is IP20. The internal insulating partitions are bridged, which further increases the reliability of the connection.

Compliance with international standards

The terminal meets the requirements of EN 60947 and EN 61238 standards, holding UL 1059 and SGS FI certificates. These attestations confirm the high quality of the product and its compliance with international electrical safety standards.

Class A means that the product can be used as a main power distribution element in installations requiring the highest reliability of electrical connections.

ClickSet™ mounting mechanism

The ClickSet™ mechanism allows for the rapid mounting of the terminal on a DIN TH-35 mm mounting rail, significantly accelerating the installation process. Alternatively, screw mounting is also possible, increasing application flexibility in various types of switchgear.

The tightening torque is visible on the terminal cover - it is 26 Nm for conductors with a cross-section of 35-120 mm² and 40 Nm for conductors with a cross-section of 150-240 mm². Contact compound is factory-applied to each terminal, meaning they are ready to use immediately after being taken out of the packaging.

The product dimensions are 37 x 65 x 106 mm, and the weight is approximately 195g. It is also available in other color versions: grey, yellow-green, red, and black.
