Universal Al/Cu Connector for Demanding Electrical Installations

The OTL300-3 connector is a professional electrical installation component designed to handle aluminum and copper conductors with cross-sections ranging from 95 to 300 mm². This universal distribution element is suitable for a wide range of applications—from industrial and power installations to photovoltaic systems and residential distribution boards.

Advanced Construction and Materials

The connector housing is made of high-quality thermoplastic material with a flammability class V0 according to UL94 standards, ensuring maximum operational safety even under challenging environmental conditions. A special surface galvanization technology for contact areas enables direct Al/Cu conductor connections without the need for bimetallic adapters or additional terminals.

Each connector is factory-equipped with contact paste, eliminating the risk of installation errors and accelerating the installation process. The tightening torque is visible on the connector cover, facilitating verification of correct installation. The compact design occupies a width of 101 mm, a height of 78 mm, and a depth of 720 mm.

Electrical and Environmental Parameters

The device operates at a rated voltage up to 1000V AC and 1500V DC, handling currents up to 630A. The operating temperature range is from -25°C to +80°C, allowing use both in enclosed spaces and in open areas.

The connector has an IP20 protection class and internally bridged levels, ensuring stable electrical connections while maintaining compact mounting dimensions.

The product has achieved short-circuit class A according to EN 61238 standards, confirming its suitability as a main power supply element before overcurrent protection devices. The connector has undergone rigorous mechanical and load-short-circuit tests, guaranteeing reliability in applications exposed to current overloads.

Installation and Compatibility

The ClickSet™ mounting mechanism enables rapid mounting on a TH-35 mm DIN rail, significantly accelerating the installation process. Alternatively, screw mounting is also possible for greater application flexibility.

The connector supports various conductor types: solid and stranded wires, flexible cables, and rigid sector-shaped conductors—both aluminum and copper. This universality eliminates the need to select specialized adapters for different conductor material combinations.

The single-level design includes six independent screw terminals per level, enabling flexible connection configuration within a single mounting module.
