The OTL300-3 cable connector is a component designed for connecting aluminum-copper cables in industrial and power installations, photovoltaic systems, and residential switchgear. Thanks to its innovative design, it enables the handling of cables with cross-sections from 95 to 300 mm² while maintaining high electrical parameters.

Construction and materials ensuring operational safety

The cable connector body is made of high-quality thermoplastic with a V0 flammability rating according to the UL94 standard, which guarantees resistance to environmental conditions and safety of use in difficult industrial environments. The insulating element is characterized by an operating temperature range from -25°C to +80°C, allowing for use in both cold storage and hot industrial environments.

The ClickSet™ mounting mechanism allows for rapid fastening on a TH-35 mm DIN rail, significantly accelerating the installation process. Alternatively, screw mounting is also possible, providing flexibility in various types of switchgear. The device width is 101 mm with a depth of 72 mm and a height of 78 mm - compact dimensions facilitate integration into dense distribution systems.

Electrical parameters for demanding applications

The cable connector operates at a rated voltage of up to 1000V AC and 1500V DC, making it suitable for both low-voltage and medium-voltage installations. The rated current In of 630A enables the transmission of significant power loads in industrial and power applications.

The design includes one level with six available terminals per level, providing flexibility in connection configuration. The internal tiers are factory pre-bridged, which simplifies wiring and reduces the risk of installation errors. The connection is implemented via a proven, highly reliable screw mechanism.

Compatibility with different types of cables

A key feature of the product is full compatibility with different types of cables - both single-core and multi-core, sector cables, and stranded cables with cross-sections from 95 to 300 mm². Special tinning technology allows for the direct connection of aluminum and copper cables without the need for Cu/Al adapters or bimetallic terminals.

Each device comes with factory-applied contact compound, eliminating the risk of installation errors.

Regulatory compliance and international certification

The product meets the requirements of European standards EN 60947 and EN 61238 regarding low-voltage electrical switchgear and bridging elements for power cables. It holds the UL1059 certificate confirming safety of use and the SGS FI certificate guaranteeing the highest production quality standards.

The cable connector has achieved short-circuit class A after passing rigorous mechanical and load-short-circuit tests, meaning it can be used as main power terminals in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits. The IP20 protection rating provides basic protection against contact with live parts.
