Universal Al/Cu Connections Without Compromises

The OTL35-2 connector is a solution for installers working with aluminum and copper conductors across a wide cross-section range from 2.5 to 35 mm². Thanks to innovative galvanization technology, it enables direct connection of conductors made of different materials without the need for Cu/Al adapters or bimetallic terminals – one connector handles solid, stranded, and sector-shaped wires, both rigid and multi-strand.

Operating Parameters and Safety

The device operates at voltages up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC with a rated current of 270A. The operating temperature range is from -25°C to +80°C, and the housing made of thermoplastic material with a flammability class of V0 according to UL94 ensures safe operation.

Mechanical Construction and Mounting

The compact design with dimensions 27×40×46 mm fits on a single level containing 4 terminals, optimizing space utilization in distribution boards. The ClickSet™ mounting mechanism allows for instant installation on a TH-35 mm DIN rail – alternatively, screw mounting is also possible for greater application flexibility.

Ready-to-Use and Contact Paste

Each connector is factory-equipped with contact paste, eliminating the need for additional preparation before installation and minimizing the risk of installation errors. The tightening torque is visible on the connector cover, facilitating quality control of the connection during installation.

Resistance to Fault Conditions

OTL connectors have achieved Short-Circuit Class A.

International Compliance and Certifications

The product meets the requirements of standards EN 60947 and EN 61238, holds UL 1059 and SGS FI certifications, confirming high manufacturing quality and full compliance with international electrical safety standards.
