Universal solution for Al/Cu installations

The OTL35-2 connector enables the secure connection of both copper and aluminum conductors without the need for additional adapters or special ferrules, with cross-sections ranging from 2,5mm² to 35mm².

Construction and materials

The connector body is made of thermoplastic material with a V0 flammability rating according to UL94 standards. A special plating technology for the conductive elements eliminates the problem of electrochemical corrosion at the aluminum-copper interface.

Each connector is factory-supplied with contact paste, which maintains connection stability over time and protects against oxidation of the contact surfaces.

Electrical parameters and safety

The device is characterized by a rated voltage of 1000V AC and 1500V DC at a rated current of 270A. The operating temperature range is from -25°C to +80°C.

The connector has achieved short-circuit class A according to IEC/EN 61238-1:2003 standards, meaning it can be used as main power terminals in installations exposed to current overloads and short circuits.

Mounting and compatibility

The ClickSet™ mounting mechanism allows for rapid attachment to a TH-35 mm DIN rail. Alternatively, screw mounting is also possible.

Its versatility is demonstrated by compatibility with different types of conductors: it supports stranded conductors both with and without ferrules (2,5-25 mm²), as well as stranded conductors (2,5-35 mm²). A single device can handle solid wires, stranded wires, and sector-shaped conductors - both rigid and multi-stranded.

The product is used in power engineering, industry, as well as residential and photovoltaic installations. It excels where high reliability of electrical connections and flexibility regarding the type and cross-section of the conductors used are required.

The connector meets the requirements of EN 60947 and EN 61238 standards, holds the UL 1059 certificate, and SGS FI certification, confirming the highest manufacturing quality and compliance with international electrical safety standards.
